Administrative Help

Email: Commission Ministers Network

Thanks for your interest in Commission Ministers Network.

We are honored you’re considering allowing CMN to work with you in the ministry the Lord has called you to. We’re here to serve you and make your ministry even more effective.

Partnership with CMN provides administrative help which frees you to spend more time in the ministry the Lord has called you to. It also provides affiliation with an international organization recognized by the US government as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. That means we’re able to receive donations for your ministry and provide donors with a tax deductible receipt for their gifts.

Finally, affiliation offers ministerial liberty. We’re not here to control your ministry. Each CMN minister is responsible for hearing from the Lord and following His direction regarding their ministry.

All applicants:

  1. must be 18 years of age or older.
  2. must be in agreement with the CMN Statement of Faith.
  3. must live in agreement with the CMN Covenant of Conduct.
  4. must have a recommendation from their pastor or a ministry associate who is qualified to vouch for their character and faithfulness in ministry.

    Step 2
Once the Complete Application Packet and Application Fee are received we will review your application and notify you of the decision.

If you are accepted to partner with Commission Ministers Network you may then begin raising support for your ministry.
(You will receive an information packet that will guide you through that process.)

    Step 3
As donations for your ministry are received, CMN will receipt each donor and at the end of the year provide your donors with an annual receipt for their gifts. **

At the end of each month you will receive a list of donors and how much each contributed toward your ministry. The total amount of funds received – less an 8% administrative fee – will then be deposited into your account. (The  8% administrative fee is deducted to cover CMN’s operating expenses.)

At the end of each year you will be issued a 1099 showing your income. As required by law a copy of this will be sent to the IRS and you will be liable for all taxes on the amount you received throughout the year. It is important that you keep records of all ministry expenses to offset the donations you receive. If you have questions about how this works please contact us and we can explain it in greater detail.

** Please note: The IRS requires that all donations which are issued a tax receipt become the property of CMN which then has full discretion over the use of the funds. It is our board policy however, to honor the preference of each donor and direct funds to the ministers and ministries they have indicated an interest in supporting.
