Scott & Elaine Bogenholm

I, Scott, was on the mission field in Puerto Rico for three years and also Dominican Republic.

In the US, I ministered for over 20 years at a local State Prison in Moose Lake, MN. Elaine volunteered there for about 10 years.

Currently, we have started Mission La Puerta Hermosa Guatemala, to be based in Granados, Baja Verapaz, Guatemala. We are still in the preparation stages.

We are: 

  1. We use locally manufactured water filters to help with the water problems;
  2. Introducing the concept of composting;
  3. Elaine is TEFL trained to teach English to those interested;
  4. We show the “Jesus” film and hand out Spanish New Testaments in churches and a school;
  5. And most importantly to win people for Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, training them to also be soul winners.
