My family and I have been called to serve the unreached and unengaged people of Bangkok, Thailand with an organization called Global Frontier Missions. GFM is an evangelical missions organization devoting themselves to reaching the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. GFM’S vision consists of Mobilizing, Training, and Multiplication, particularly to the unreached and unengaged people groups that fall within the 10/40 window. I will be mobilizing potential missionaries by leading Vision trips into Bangkok and possibly into South East Asia.

This vision trip will give a practical perspective on being missionaries in a foreign land by being immersed in the city of Bangkok, recognizing the need for more workers, learning the basics of missions through a Biblical lens, and understanding the physical and spiritual cost of discipleship. The trip will consists of visiting temples, meeting missionaries, pastors, business owners, and others who are able to not only show the need but to give potential missionaries a real sense of what it looks like to serve long term. This will give potential missionaries a firsthand view of Thailand’s culture, language, religion, and worldview that will give them a new perspective of what cross-cultural missions entails.
