Mike & Val Boado

Mike and Valerie Boado are global missionaries. Together, their ministry started in Tagum City, Philippines. There, in 1990, they pioneered the NEOS Fellowship Center. For the next 30 years, Mike and Val worked in Tagum to evangelize, disciple, train, and equip the NEOS staff and members to take over the leadership. A thriving church is now going strong in Tagum. There is also a daughter church in a nearby town that is growing.

From 2021 to 2023, Mike and Val lived in the hill country of Texas. Their ministry was to travel to foreign fields in order to care for and encourage missionaries. During those years in Texas, God showed them the importance of caring for global workers.

Mike and Val currently direct Phoster Hope Ministries. Their goal is to encourage and build up global workers. They are back in the Philippines as their base of operations. They work closely with the NEOS Fellowship Center as mentors and consultants.

Mike preaches every Sunday either in Tagum at NEOS or at the daughter church in the nearby town of Monkayo.   Mike is also meeting with a group of pastors to encourage them.   He is also discipling Sheen who is a new NEOS staff member.
Mike and Val work together with couples for marriage coaching and speaking at events.

Val is a life coach, a discipler, and a mentor. She meets online with women all over the world and locally in order to encourage them and bring them closer to the feet of Jesus.

Mike and Val are open and available to travel to visit global workers who would like or who need an in-person visit.

Please pray for Mike and Val as they encourage others to grow in the Lord.

Mike and Val are both Ordained through CMN.
