The Casa Shalom missionary ministry began in February 2019 in the village of Los Planes, in the municipality of Acatenango, Department of Chimaltenango. Our goal is always to expand daily to various communities, not only in our municipality but also in other municipalities of our beautiful Guatemala.

Through humanitarian aid, we are able to meet many people, learn their stories, and intervene in the two ways God allows us: social aid and spiritual aid, primarily in their spiritual lives, praying and discipling people so they may walk trusting in God. Social aid allows us to have a better understanding of people’s lives, which is truly our interest, to bring the word of God and hope in Jesus Christ.

OUR PROGRAMS ARE:

1. Genesis: Directed by Lucy Diaz, its focus is on organizing different recreational activities & providing humanitarian aid to the elderly.

2. Light to the Nations: Directed by Carla Diaz, is dedicated to making connections with people from different places & studying the culture & customs, to receive & send missionaries to fulfill the Great Commission, inside & outside our nation.

3. Army of Heaven: Led by Raquel Guerra, it focuses on providing Bible tutoring to children who have little access to knowledge of God’s word.  

4. Happy Family: Led by Glendy Diaz, the foundation’s general director. This program is responsible for organizing & researching the communities, identifying the neediest families & prioritizing material assistance.
