Matt and Nora share a burden and a passion for discipling and mentoring young people in Guatemala. They are the Ministry Leaders of “Hope in the Highest,” a residential program that supports adults who have aged out of children’s homes. Modeling a family-style approach, they strengthen relationships by teaching Gospel-centered life skills, equip Believers to mature in their faith through discipleship and Bible study, and provide financial and job coaching with Biblical principles. Matt also serves young adults from a remote village through Marie Ministries, a ministry providing young adults scholarships to finish high school and attend college or trade school, learn some English and foster a growing relationship with Jesus through discipleship. Nora pours herself into homeschooling their three children and cultivating a home where guests are embraced like family. Together, Matt and Nora foster a welcoming community for young people, expats and growing families through personal connection and offering a seat at their table.
