David and Gabriela are missionaries in Guatemala. Married in 2014, they have two daughters. David is an audio engineer, and Gabriela is an artist and illustrator. Together, they serve several communities through education, discipleship, audio-related solutions, art, sharing the gospel, and any other way they can.
David is currently serving as a teacher and tutor in Marie’s Ministries Guatemala, discipling young adults and supporting them in their academic and Christian walk. This program supports middle school, high school, and university students.
He has partnered with Missionary Ventures, a ministry dedicated to supporting churches and pastors in poor communities. Through his experience in audio engineering, he serves churches by offering audio-related solutions, connecting and optimizing equipment, salvaging equipment, and training staff who are interested in learning about mixers, speakers, and microphones.
David has also recently partnered with Revive, another ministry dedicated to supporting churches and pastors in Guatemala’s rural areas. He has been helping with their missionary trips, delivering food donations and water filters, while also offering audio-related support to the churches and pastors they serve and assisting with their events.
David is also part of Access Church Guatemala. He serves as the director of audio and production while also supporting administrative work such as handling the WhatsApp number that connects the pastor with the congregation, website updates, supporting the translation and worship teams in their roles, sending broadcast messages, and uploading services to podcast platforms. On special occasions, he also serves in worship sessions and events.
He also independently supports other churches and organizations that approach him with audio-related needs. This is a real need in churches across the country, since many do not have the resources to address their audio needs or train their people—something that can be important in their mission to spread the gospel.
David also helps a senior pastor and missionary in Italy with the media and technology aspects of his ministry.
Gabriela dedicates herself to homeschooling the girls at home, guiding them not only through their academic journey but also in their spiritual walk. We believe that our first Kingdom responsibility is to our daughters, so through exploration, hands-on and self-directed learning, and creativity, we work with them to develop their gifts and talents so they can serve others. Every day, we support them through play, sports, academic activities, and other opportunities to grow in mind and faith.
She is also a Christian artist, managing a small online community through her Bible-inspired art, testimonies, and faith-encouraging messages to help others in their walk with God.
She also supports the ministry with administrative tasks, newsletters, and other practical needs.
Gabriela also occasionally supports ministries and organizations through her design and illustration skills. She has designed murals and logos and has donated paintings.
Together, they serve in these areas of ministry while striving to maintain their relationship with the Lord, so He can continue to change them from who they are into who He is, strengthening their spirits and guiding their steps.
