David and Gabriela married in 2014 and have two daughters, Micaella and Nina.
Gabriela is a Christian illustrator who dedicates herself to her girls, homeschooling them and guiding them in Christ.
Over the years, David worked in Guatemala’s music and acoustic industries. In 2019, he was called to help at a church that needed to solve audio issues, and since then, God has turned his life around, leading him from secular work to serving Him and His church.
Local congregations in Guatemala often do not have the budget or knowledge to deal with the demands of audio production, which usually includes challenges with their worship, message clarity, or audio-related complaints from neighbors. Church planters, local ministry podcasts, and other Christian productions are essential for spreading the message of Christ. Many ministries, individuals, and organizations are unable to afford the added expense of expert-level audio engineers and recording studios.
With years of experience in the audio production industry, David now serves as the Director of Audio and Production at Access Church. David leverages his love for education and mentoring at Marie’s Ministry—a program dedicated to helping young adults through education and discipleship. David also provides expert support for local churches and Christian schools with audio-related issues and staff training. One of David’s most rewarding roles is Homeschooling Dad.
The Suárez family endeavors to support others’ needs, train staff, find solutions, and serve the Christian community, all while providing a safe home and education for their daughters.
