Deliverance Church Karen End

Transforming Lives at the Crossroads of Faith, Poverty & Purpose

 Who We Are

Founded in 2018 by Pastor Maurice Njeru and his wife Dinah Wanjiru Njeru, Deliverance Church Karen End is a vibrant, faith-driven ministry located at a community in an underserved intersection of three counties Nairobi, Kajiado and Kiambu Counties. Together with our three children Blessed Kyla Amani, Victor Baraka Jamba, and Agel Shakina Sasha we serve a community marked by poverty, addiction, broken families, and spiritual confusion. Our Vision is A community that knows God and does His will and our mission is: Teaching for obedience. We exist to make disciples who transform their communities.

Our ministry strategy is three fold

Local Church Ministry

Our church is more than a building—it’s a movement of hope. Though our congregation is small, our reach is wide. We engage the community through:

  • Tuesday Home Churches: Intimate gatherings for, evangelism, discipleship and healing.
  • Friday Evening Prayers: Intercession for families, church, and national revival.
  • Sunday Services: Followed by fellowship groups for men, women, and youth.
  • Annual & Inter-Church Outreaches: Evangelism and community service.
  • Pastoral Fellowship Leadership: Maurice serves as a denominational leader in evangelism, mentoring leaders and youth across the region.

Our church is a spiritual lifeline in a region often overlooked in development efforts. We see firsthand the effects of generational poverty, addiction, and religious confusion and we respond with love, truth, and practical support.

 Youth Ministry

Maurice also leads a team at Daraja La Amani (“Bridge of Peace”), which equips youth aging out of institutional care to transition into independent adulthood. He serves in this ministry three days a week in:

  • Life Skills Training
  • Character Coaching
  • Workshops & Discipleship Groups
  • Community Outreach to Vulnerable Youth

In Kenya, many youth struggle with entitlement, fear, and dependency. We help them shift their mindset, embrace responsibility, and discover their God-given potential. With more infrastructure and resources, this model can be scaled to reach thousands more.

Equipping Youth & Children Workers

Maurice is a mentorship trainer and affiliate trainer with Trauma Free World, offering trauma-informed care workshops across East Africa. We train:

  • Teachers
  • Pastors
  • Parents & Caregivers
  • Community Leaders

These trainings empower adults to walk with children through healing, growth, and spiritual formation. Whether in churches, schools, or community centers, we’re building a network of trauma-competent, Christ-centered mentors.
