My name is Macaria Pérez (now Villegas) and I am originally from Veracruz. My husband, Felipe Villegas, and I have been married since 2019 and we have three daughters: Elsa, 5 years old, and the twins, Camila and Dana, 2 years old.
At 17, I went to study at the Puebla Biblical Seminary. I graduated at 23 with a degree in Bible studies, specializing in youth ministry. My husband has theological studies also.
Today, Felipe and I serve at the El Puente Bilingual Church in Puebla, Mexico. We lead and are responsible for the Children’s Ministry, which includes Sunday School program for preschool and elementary ages. We also train and coordinate the volunteers who serve as support staff or teachers within these age levels, as well as to find and evaluate teaching materials.
Another activity that Felipe and I do, is preparing and organizing the annual VBS for our church and as an outreach. We love the spiritual impact that we have with parents, as we minister to their children.
Felipe uses soccer as a way to disciples of teenagers between the ages of 12 and 15. Our desire is to guide the new generations of our church, and even beyond, to see them become disciples of Jesus Christ who, in turn, will make other disciples.
I have Ministerial License with Commission Ministers Network
