Hello! My name is Edy Rosales, and I am a local Guatemalan whose heart has been transformed by Jesus Christ.

Over the years since God took hold of my heart and called me to serve Him, I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve various villages across Guatemala, meeting physical needs and sharing the Gospel of Christ.

God has now called me to serve the Lord Jesus Christ full-time, and he has faithfully prepared me through the years of ministry service that he allowed me to do. As God laid a clear call on my life to serve children and adults who find themselves living on the streets or in extreme poverty, he led me to the village of El Hato, which is located around 5km from Antigua, Guatemala.

God has now planted our ministry, “La Mano De Dios” (The Hand of God) in El Hato. We are legally registered in Guatemala as “Asociación Doulos en Acción” (Doulos in Action Association). Thanks be to God, our ministry has been serving the community for seven years—years filled with struggle, suffering, work, blessings, challenges, faith, love, weariness, and hope. But without a doubt, we can see God’s work in the community.

Our ministry’s focus is sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ as revealed in the Word of God. God has empowered our ministry to enlist the following programs – a children’s feeding program
(feeding an average of 60 to 70 children, 4 days a week, to whom we teach the Word, sing, and play), a youth group where we teach God’s Word, and a mothers’ group where we share His
Word and care. We are also in the process of creating a men’s group to address alcohol and drug problems through teaching the Bible.

God has also allowed us to foster beautiful relationships with the families in the community whom we visit frequently and aim to meet their needs (roof, stoves, filters, food, etc.) as the Lord
provides.

The story that continues unfolding at La Mano De Dios is written by God alone, and we are blessed to take part in the advance of His Kingdom in El Hato. We faithfully pray and seek God
