I use my skills as a Landscape Architect to serve churches, missions organizations, and faith-based educational and healthcare institutions. The majority of my work is conducted in poor nations–among those who lack the opportunity or financial resources to hire a design professional. My skills greatly enhance these organizations and their kingdom outreach. They realize lower construction/operating costs, enhanced productivity/stewardship of resources, improved healthcare and education, and alleviation of suffering. I offer my services free of charge—thanks to the financial support I receive from individual donors and churches.

I collaborate with skilled volunteers and service organizations (primarily Engineering Ministries International (eMi) and Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) in Africa, and Youth with a Mission (YWAM) in Latin America and the United States). I hold the degree of Bachelor of Science, Landscape Architecture (BSLA) from the University of California. I maintain professional licensure in the USA. My current projects include orphanages, clinics/hospitals, schools (primary, secondary, college-prep, and university-level), and specialized ventures (vocational, teaching/discipleship, and transportation/airport).

I use my spiritual gifts alongside my professional skills. I am called upon to teach, disciple, and counsel–often in areas with limited educational opportunities. I’ve worked with orphans and caregivers in South Africa, Pastors in West Africa, and individuals from all walks of life in East Africa (including students, lay leaders, business owners, and vocational Christian workers). I have a heart for the wounded and oppressed, including those affected by relational brokenness, addictions, aberrant teachings, and abusive churches. I completed my graduate studies at Denver Seminary, where I earned the degree of Master of Divinity (M.Div).
