David & Deborah Luna

David and Deborah Luna serve as missionaries in Baños de Agua Santa, Ecuador, a small town in the Andes Mountains.

Located at the base of an active volcano, Baños de Agua Santa is the gateway between the Andes highlands and the Amazonian jungle. Due to its magnificent beauty and mild weather, it is a major tourist attraction and is frequently called “The Hidden Eden.” Sadly, many residents practice both the nature worship of the mountain peoples and the witchcraft of the jungle tribes.

In 2013, David planted a church in Baños de Agua Santa, starting with six people. Through street preaching, evangelism, and personal testimony the church, Casa de Mi Padre, began to grow. Currently, about 40-50 people attend Sunday services.

The church has daily prayer meetings, Sunday and Wednesday worship services, children’s classes, a discipleship program, and evangelistic outreaches. It has recently become the first satellite location in Ecuador of the TUMI seminary program from World Impact. We also have welcomed mission teams from the US and even Europe!

David serves as pastor of Casa de Mi Padre, overseeing daily operations. Deborah assists with music, discipleship and women’s ministry. Their mission is to share the light of the gospel of Jesus Christ in a dark place!

The couple has one child, David Isaac, born in June 2025.
