Bergen Lindahl

This past May, Bergen graduated from Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan with a double major in Social Work and Creativity & Innovation.

Due to Bergen’s experiences serving with Royal Servants in Spanish-speaking countries, as well as her experience working with refugee and immigrant youth at her internship, she has felt God’s leading to study Spanish. Bergen has the opportunity to study Spanish at ABC Español Spanish Institute in Arequipa, Peru! She will be staying with a host family, being immersed in the language and local culture. This is a really exciting opportunity for her to be bilingual and to use that skill in her future social work career and ministry endeavors.

While she is studying Spanish, she will also be serving with and learning from local believers and missionaries in Arequipa. She will be participating in their ministry of working with vulnerable children, strengthening the local church, and spreading the gospel through evangelism and discipleship.

Bergen is planning to leave for Arequipa in early October and return in April. These 28 weeks of language learning, ministry, and living in Peru will grow, challenge, and better equip her to share the Good News.

She would like to invite you to participate in what God is doing and will do in Peru through prayer, financial support, and encouragement.
