Genesis Cochabamba is a ministry based in Cochabamba, Bolivia, in South America. At its core, Genesis is a church community with a strong emphasis on reaching people who have never been part of a church. Through discipleship, connect groups, and service, Genesis seeks to help individuals grow in their relationship with the Lord and, in turn, to serve and share His love with others.  

Genesis Cochabamba also works with a foundation in the city’s red-light district to help break the cycle of prostitution, poverty, and addiction. The focus includes sharing the love and salvation of Jesus, providing education and trade training for the children and teens. Trade training is also offered for mothers and grandmothers. This support helps women find employment, secure safe housing, and ultimately leave behind lives of exploitation.

In addition, Genesis Cochabamba works with several orphanages throughout the city. The ministry helps meet practical needs, organizes special activities, leads Bible studies, and brings children and teens to church. The goal is to provide these young people with a loving, supportive community that will walk with them as they grow and continue to support them as they transition out of the orphanage system.
