King “Bill” Lambert

Paul’s reminder to Timothy in his second letter Ch. 2, v. 2 captures the focus of my leadership-equipping ministry.

“The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, those entrust to faithful Christians who will be able to teach others also.”

God has directed me to equip national Christian workers so they can better understand, apply and teach others the Word of God in a comprehensive and systematic manner. During this process, worship leaders, children and youth ministers, evangelists, church planters and pastors become more effective Biblical servants to the ministries God has called them.

Unfortunately, most national Christian workers and pastors do not have ready access to local residential Bible-training facilities. Therefore, we must bring the training to them. The goal is to find or create national leadership development centers through which to conduct the equipping process with an emphasis on instruction.

Since 2012, I have served in the Philippines through the Bicol Center for Christian Leadership (BCCL). Begun as a missions outreach of the North American Baptists (NAB), it has been Filipino operated and directed for many years. Transitioning to a full-time equipping ministry in 2015, I affiliated with Christian Ministers Network (CMN), a US based independent missionary organization which assists missionaries in fulfilling governmental non-profit financial giving and tax deductible donation guidelines.

My wife Adele is responsible for all my correspondence and formatting and editing my various course material so students receive a complete transcript in advance of each lecture. Adele provides hospitality for visiting nationals and of course is responsible for you receiving your newsletters. Together we raise support for the cost of living in the United States while preparing for teaching engagements and for the cost of my travel and living expenses while on the field.

We hope to expand the ministry from its beginnings in the Philippines to other international areas where similar needs exist.

Commission Ministers Network is a non-profit and sends letters of receipt for tax purposes with each donation and at the end of the year. The funds are sent to us at the end of each month. If you would like to know more about CMN, click here.

If you would like to be a part of this ministry, you can donate here. Be sure to put Bill and Adele on the message line. Or you can send a check to CMN at PO Box 291002, Kerrville, TX 78029-1002.Donate button
