I have been traveling to Honduras on short term mission trips each summer since 2010. While there I have taught at the school, worked in the construction and maintenance department, aided in clinics, driven the school bus, and worked at the foster children’s home.
I just graduated with an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences. I plan to spend a year before medical school serving at the mission in Honduras. I am committed to teaching at the Christian bilingual school, focusing on K-3rd grade. I will also tutor, help with recesses, and do some cleaning and general maintenance at the school. I will spend my spare time in the hospital clinics and help with the construction team on projects around the community.
I am incredibly excited to be able to return for a whole year. Pray with me that the Lord will use me in each area that I serve.
I have been commissioned by CMN. Commission Ministers Network is a non-profit and sends letters of receipt for tax purposes with each donation and at the end of the year. The funds are sent to me at the end of each month. If you would like to know more about CMN, click here.
If you would like to be a part of this ministry, you can donate here. Be sure to put Joseph Barnett on the message line. Or you can send a check to CMN at PO Box 291002, Kerrville, TX 78029-1002.
