Covenant of Conduct
Believing my body is a temple of the Holy
Spirit, I covenant to:
• Order my life in accordance with God’s standard of moral purity, (I
Cor 6:9-20)
• Remain faithful to my marriage vows, (I Thess 4:3-7, Eph 5:1-7)
• Remain free from bondage to any addictive substance or ungodly
activity. (I Cor 6:12, I Tim 3:3,8)
Believing my conduct in every area of life is to glorify God, I
covenant to:
• Seek to manifest the fruit of the Spirit in all my actions and
endeavors, (Gal 5:19-26)
• Deal honestly with everyone, (I Tim 6:6-14)
• Work so I may give to others. (Eph 4:28)
Believing my family is to reflect Christ’s love and care for His
church, I covenant to:
• Strive to keep my family in Biblical order, (Eph 5:21-6:4, I Tim
3:4, 5)
• Provide for my family spiritually and physically, (I Tim 5:8)
• Guard my tongue. (Eph 4:29-32, James 3, II Tim 2:22-26, James 1:26)
