Commission Ministers Network (CMN) is an international association of ministers and ministries that exists to serve men and women who are actively ministering to the Body of Christ.

Credentials

CMN provides ministerial credentials to candidates who have demonstrated a call of God on their lives and have obeyed that call by becoming active in ministry.  CMN credentials are only issued to those who are currently actively engaged, full or part time, in ministry service or, in the event credentials are necessary for ministry, who will become actively engaged immediately upon issuing of the credentials.

CMN cannot call you to be a minister – only God can do that.  Neither can credentials make you a minister – that too is the Lord’s work.  CMN can merely recognize the call and ministry given by God and confirm that through the issuance of credentials.

Funding Assistance

For those who raise support to enable their ministry CMN can help provide administrative assistance to its Commissioned, Licensed or Ordained ministers and approved partner organizations.

Ministerial Liberty

CMN does not exercise control over its ministers or ministries.  Each remains sovereign and self-governing under God. Ministers or ministries may retain affiliation with CMN while holding affiliation with other ministerial associations, denominations, or fellowships.

Affiliation and credentials with Commission Ministers Network are based upon the following requirements.

  1. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
  2. Applicant must be in agreement with the CMN Statement of Faith.
  3. Applicants must live in agreement with the CMN Covenant of Conduct.
  4. Applicant must be currently engaged in ministry or, in the event the ministry activity is contingent upon holding credentials, must begin serving as soon as credentials are issued.

Financial Assistance

Financial assistance is available for ministers in developing countries and under special circumstances.  Please contact us for details explaining your reason for seeking financial aid, how much help you are requesting and how much you can contribute toward the credentialing fees.

Those who have received aid in the past must resubmit a new request and be reevaluated each year.

If you raise funds to support yourself as a minister or missionary or for a project, CMN may be able to offer administrative help in the form of receiving, receipting and disbursing funds as well as providing end of the year tax documents for you or your ministry.

In order for us to do this, the person or project must first be reviewed by CMN.  If approved the minister or ministry will be “Commissioned” through CMN.

“Commissioned” is a special status that indicates the minister or ministry has been authorized to raise and receive funds through Commission Ministers Network.  Commissioned Ministers may be licensed, ordained or have no credentials with CMN.

Commissioning requires that the ministry or project for which funds will be raised is an approved project of CMN.  If you have a project which you would like to submit to CMN for consideration, please contact us directly for more information.
